Birthday Bumps

Jet lag…a common theme in my life. I have been living in limbo time zone land for a few weeks now. Not sure whether to try and adjust or commit to any one side of the ocean!

Soooo tired

I’m back in the land of small dogs, Frappuccinos and white teeth as I have a date tomorrow…with Paris Hilton! Who knows what will happen, if she’ll like me, what we’ll do, where I’ll end up! I’m actually a bit nervous! You’ll have to wait until ‘Fearne and…’ is on TV in the autumn!

Before I left for LA I have mainly been being clumsy! I’m naturally this way inclined but for some reason (jet lag? Age? (pushing 28), or bad luck) I’ve upped my game!

First up… I’m on a run, my usual route, it’s sunny, birds are singing, the river is glittering then WHOOOOMP! I’m on the floor covered in mud, iPod in a bush, house keys nowhere to be seen! I had tripped over nothing in front of a bemused cyclist who stopped to help me up! Grazed knee, red face, over jogging!

Grazed knee - it even made a hole in my leggings!

Next I text someone a message that was not for them! I do this a lot and never learn or think properly before pressing send. More red face!

Literally moments ago I also dropped my shorts (the only shorts I brought out here) in a massive puddle of rank swimming pool water. Drenched, red face of anger!

In just over a week I’m going to be 28! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? I have no idea where those early twenties went? What happened? Am I now a proper adult? Panic stations! 30 is so near I can smell it! It smells of grown up things like room spray and good wine! 28 is still smelling like dirty gigs and gin - thank god!

I’m listening to loads good tunes at the mo. A quick rundown if you will:

Mumford and Sons-White Blank Page

Discovery-So Insane

Pearl Jam

White Denim

and the new Jamie T album which I promise is sooooo frikkin good!

Right, back to being jet lagged and searching for Paris Hilton!

Peace and Love,

 COTTON

Floral T-Shirt Winner Announced!

Congratulations to Sarah Jones from Chester for winning our exclusive competition to win a Fearne-designed Floral Jersey T-shirt from her brand new and exclusive range for Very!

We asked you to come up with one sentence that would convince Fearne exactly why you should win such a fabulous prize! Sarah stormed to victory with… “I think I should win as I’ve recently dropped from a size 22 to a size 16 and have nothing to wear to my pole dancing classes!”

Nice one Sarah, the T-shirt will be winging its way to you soon!

To enter our brand new competition (where you can win a rather nice Bow and Lace Trim Skirt)CLICK HERE NOW!

We were inundated with all sorts of emails, from the truly wonderful to the utterly weird. Here’s a look at some of our favourites that didn’t quite make the cut…

Please don’t worry, I’m not a cross dresser…, I’m entering this competition to win this T-Shirt for my partner.

An anagram of Fearne Cotton Floral Jersey T-shirt is “React! - Tonne Of Rare Jellyfish Trots….” and I’m afraid it’s those rare jellyfish trots which are willing me to win that lovely T-Shirt for my other half….!!

Nathan Hodgson

I should win the t shirt because a racoon came to my front door, ran up my stairs into my closet and nibbled on all my clothes! Now I can’t go out as I have nothing to wear and my friends think I’m lying!! I’ve resorted to sticking post it notes on my chest to cover up!

Paula Kane

Recently I was involved in a tragic accident, in which my Fearne Cotton poster was blown into a lit fireplace by an unexplained gust of wind, and various escalating occurrences caused my whole house to be burnt to a crisp and left me with only the clothes on my back; in my opinion, it is therefore Fearne Cotton’s fault that I am wardrobe less, and I am morally entitled to this t-shirt.

Thank you =)

Laura Waldram

And a special mention goes out to Neil Bharadwa for becoming our unofficial runner-up for being such a good hubby!

Well this is on behalf of my wife really- she’s had three gorgeous
kids and trimmed down to a size 8… all while being a super mum so she
well deserves this!

Awww, bless!

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, Thunder…

I’m now back in the UK still in a bubble of jet lag! I went straight to Radio 1 when I landed and then on to a fancy dress party where I was supposed to be a Thundercat!

My costume was slightly ropey due to lack of time, effort and maximum jet lag but I tried! Leopard print leggings, a Thundercats badge my mate made and eye liner whiskers! When I got home my cats freaked out at the sight of me!

(Just in case you need reminding exactly what a ‘Thundercat’ is, or you just want a hefty dose of nostalgic goodness - we thought we’d throw this video in here…Snarf! -  The Fearne Cotton web team)
