In the mid-90’s me and all my friends had neon coloured jeans with matching t-shirts in similar shades. We all basically ended up looking like radioactive bananas

  2. Kelianna Jones says:

it was non uniform day in school for christmas, and the day before i had gone shopping with my girls and i had bought a very cute outfit. i felt so confident, which is a change. im normally shy. so yeah i had really bad belly craps by break so i went the toliet, and yeah i started my peirod. good job my friends kept spare towels. i didnt have a clue how to put them on. but i felt dirty as for the blood had gotton on my knickers. when i was done, i went to go and meet up with my friends and to do so i had to walk past some lad. which one of them happened to my crush. i was wondering why they was laughing at me. when i reached to my friends they started laughing to. not only was my skirt tucked into my knickers, but you could see the towel through my knickers with the blood. it was proper devastation.

  3. Annie says:

I used to wear jeans with adidas trainers and think i was cool, i also wore with it one of those dresses (yes a dress with jeans) that had puffy shoulders and tied at the waist. I also wore a neck scarf but not round my neck, but round my head! What a cool dude i thought i was!

  4. Carolann Cameron says:

OMG! I was 19, with my ex Southsea for a weekend from Scotland - we bought t-shirts and had them printed on.

On the front mine said ‘I Love David’
On the from of his said ‘I Love Carol’

On the back of mine? ‘My names Carol’ and yes, on the back of his, ‘My names David’.

I thought it was romantic but everyone was laughing at us walking up and down the seafront.

I am soooo embarrassed by this even now, 24 years later, I still squirm when I think about it. WHAT WAS I THINKING? lol

  5. sarah Jones says:

Taking my daughter to a family meal to celerbrate my daughters 13th..
I had bought all new clothes to go, but made out they were not when asked,
anyway I went to go to the ladies and had to walk through really long restaurant to get there, and same long walk through the diners to get back to my table..
When my aunt said again how nice my new top was… and me protesting ‘oh no its not new’
then to be laughed at and told my NEW TAG was hangin out of the top…. DOH!!!
I still said it was an old new top that had been in my wardrobe for over a year….
    oops

  6. Annie says:

In around about 1999-2000 i wore a pencil skirt at the age of about 7! it was denim and went to about my knees! i wore them with tommy hilfiger red bowling-like trainers and i purple zip-up hoodie!

  7. Faith Horne says:

Last year I went to a music festival for the first time, I spent ages planning an outfit which was perfect but being the shopaholic I am, I went out and saw this gorgeous red and white boobtube which to be honest, i naively didn’t think was much of an issue. Anyway, I had a strapless pushup bra which I thought would keep it up and fine - how wrong I was!
I was jumping around in the crowd as ya do, when my bra opened and fell down.. bringing the boobtube with it. I looked down to see my boobs were on display to everyone (including my best friends!), it was AWFUL i had to zip up a manky old jacket for the rest of the day!

I got rid of that top as soon as i got home.

  8. Alison Bowman says:

I was at my friends house and it was her birthday we all decided to go out a meet up with some boy mates, all and we wanted to be extra awesome so wore skirts and strappy tops. of cours it started to rain and my skirt went completly see through showing of my very snazzy panties to the world. Next time its a baggy jumper and jeans :P x

  9. Rochelle says:

My mum won me a Boyzone t-shirt when i was younger. It was bright orange and had ‘Boyzone’ written in black and white cow print across the middle! Gross! I loved it at the time but now looking back…eew!

  10. Lucy Mc says:

well it was around march and i was going to my friends house party. i was supposed to bring up a boy that i liked and it was a really cold windy and rainy night, i went to this village and the boy who was having the house party lived about 10 mins away from that village.. anyway, when i was going up i went up in a car packed with people and when i was getting out of this small tiny car i tripped over the seat belt and fell flat on my face i was wearing a pair of jeans and a black and red checked shirt and red converse well, my converse were not red when i got into the house party. my shirt just looked completely black. my jeans were ruind and i got one hole in my jeans on my knee a little circle. well when i went into the house i walked in and everyone was sitting and just laughed at me and goes what happened to you i just had to say ‘i fell what does it look like’ i was never more embaressed in my life my hair wet my face all mucky my clothes ruined and i had hours until i could get home so i sit in wet clothes all night! i still get stick from that night and i can now say i am a clutz.. really.
