‘Kill Your Friends’ by John Niven
If you want to be a rock star, the new Beyonce, or dream of having your songs played on the radio….this is NOT the book for you!
A brutally honest tale of one man’s life in the A&R game! I was laughing out loud by page 3 and feeling ever slightly guilty for doing so! I was literally dragged through this book squirming, gasping and wincing and felt like I needed to go to church and repent my sins after reading it!

The antics of lead character, Stephen Stelfox, are unreal! If you want a guilt free journey of debauchery, filth, rock n roll then jump on board and live your life through the Stelfox, A&R crazy man living and working in the music industry circa 1997!
If you ever thought you wanted to be in the music business this book may change your mind, hinder your dreams, burst your bubble or maybe do the complete opposite!
I’ve warned you…that’s all!

I’ve read this book, I totally aggree with you! It’s so brutal, but it’s the truth!
