Watching my time spent with Peaches back is nearly as exhausting as reliving it. Not in a negative way, just in the sense that it was non-stop, ever changing and always surprising.
She is a wee firefly who darts across the ocean from NYC & LA to London & Cannes and then back like she’s hopping on the bus to the shops. Her hair colour changes, her style with it, her mood follows suit so you never quite know where you are with her. I spent the majority of the show unsure of how our ‘friendship’ was panning out.
I ended up adopting an equally chameleon-esque personality. One minute feeling like her older sister, then her geeky side kick, to an annoying pest.
Even after our intense time spent together, I’m unsure as to where I stand with her. This is all part of Peaches’ allure. Never knowing what you’re going to get. She lives life to the max, never regrets a thing or apologises for her choices. I almost admire her bravery and balls in doing exactly what she wants. A quirky 21st century girl with no rules.
Peace COTTON

Tune in to ITV2 tonight from 10pm to see Fearne spend some quality time with none other than Peaches Geldof. In the second of her ‘Fearne And’ series, Fearne jets to New York in an attempt to discover the real Peaches rather than the one so often the subject of tabloid speculation.
It’s not an easy journey however, as Fearne does her best to keep up with a busy, sometimes distant Peaches. Check out this sneak peek now for a taste of what’s in store tonight.
To watch the whole show, don’t forget to tune it ITV2 tonight from 10pm - trust us, it’s a rollercoaster ride!
You’re never meant to meet your heroes right? I can confirm this is sound advice! What on earth made me think I could talk to Robert Plant and not make a tit out of myself??
In this photo for starters you can see I look baffled, over excited, hyper and generally stupid! All because of one man MR ROBERT PLANT! My all time hero alongside Jimmy Page to me you can’t compare them. Two living rock GODS!
Robert was at the Q awards collecting his Outstanding Contribution to Music award (was an award ever so deserved!!). I had presented Kasabian with their Best Album awards alongside my good friend Kelly from the Stereophonics and on the way back he decided to drag me over to meet said GOD! I was visibly shaking and blurted out “YOU’RE MY HERO” the most dumbfoundingly obvious thing to say! WHY WHY WHY!!! I could have calmly said “I’m a great admirer of your solid bulk of work”, or “you inspire me greatly and always have, you’re the reason I love music” …or simply “you rock” but a pathetic “you’re my hero” oh dear!!
Anyway it happened and I’m dealing with it (slowly).
Marianne Faithful gracefully accepted an Icon Award, The Specials gave a passionate speech with a newly boobed Winehouse hanging off them, and Mr Hudson picked up Best Breakthrough Act. After making such a spectacular dweeb of myself I needed a big drink. The unofficial after show party kicked off at a neighbouring pub where the weirdest scenes unfolded. Biffy Clyro chatting to Snow Patrol, Al Murray supped a pint by the bar chatting to Suggs whilst Jamie T got some air outside. It was like Q Magazine had jumped of the page and straight into a West London pub!
I also managed to squeeze in a quick gig after the after show (the after after show after the show??) The Noisettes at Shepherds Bush! Shingai is a phenomenal human! She tore the place apart and had the audience in the palm of her hand within moments of skipping out bare foot on the stage in her gold Robocop style leotard! She even got her little brother out on the stage to sing some harmonies matching her gorgeous voice. What a talented family! Me and my brother are pretty good at watching dvds together, but in the singing department we sound like a bag of cats!
All in all a mad, wonderful, unforgettable day. Now I need sleep, Gossip Girl, and my bear (so un-rock’n'roll) NIGHT
Peace
