In between playing records and entertaining the nation Fearne knocked up this masterpiece and twitpic’d her progress. Well we have collected all the stages and you can see how it progressed and more importantly who it is by clicking on the image below.

We woke up early Monday morning and set off for John O’Groats all buzzing with excitement and nerves. We set off from the start line looking like ninjas in lycra and helmets oblivious to what we were about to endure. After an hour I sneakily thought to myself that it wouldn’t be too hard or challenging if it was just more of that! NAIVE!!!!! Fast forward one hour when I was back on the bike for 2 1/2 of the most gruelling hours of physical endurance I have and will ever experience. I climbed up to the top of the peaks of the highlands through snow blizzards, hail and wind. At times I thought I had to stop, my legs would just give in or I’d run out of breath. After that 28 miles I knew I wasn’t in for a smooth ride. 

I spent the rest of the day dreading my next venture out of the cosy yet tiny tour bus. I tried to sleep a bit but our bunks were literally shelves with quilts and the bus never stopped moving. I got called out again at about 1am for another 26 miles this time in -8 conditions. My hands and feet were instantly numb and my cheeks felt like they belonged to someone else. I whizzed through my miles in record time as all I wanted to do was get back on my little warm shelf on the bus. This continued, in slightly warmer conditions, for 4 days. My day would be a blur of laying on the shelf, putting lycra back on, eating pasta/cakes/chocolate/bread/anything else that would give me the motivation to get out of the warm bus, and cycling on my very uncomfortable bike. 

They were great laughs along the way though. I have made some amazing new friends in Russell, Miranda (one of the funniest humans on earth), and David and now love Davina and Patrick who were already mates, even more! Davina is one of the most positive, wonderful, happy and determined people I have ever met so when things got tough I looked to her for the incentive to get back on that sodding bike. 

David Walliams wore actual smart blue old man PJs to bed every night which I thought was hysterical, and me and the girls did a lot of talk about saddle sore, farting and chocolate. 

Paddy has now been named Powerhouse Paddy as he rockets up hills with his thunderous muscle thighs and I got named the Snotting Queen by Greg the trainer for the amount I had to snot shot on the bike. 

We arrived at Land’s End to so many more people than we ever could have imagined and I cried, alot! blub blub blub…I couldn’t stop. It was like this huge release after trying to stay focused and in the zone for so long. We raised the £1 million and now all have bums of steel and backs like a 90 year old. 

I felt quite lost all weekend as the adrenalin stopped and the focus was gone. I miss the gang and weirdly even my little shelf bed. I certainly miss eating crap all day but don’t miss the 50 odd miles on a bike quite yet.

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved, with the team’s physical and mental stamina pushed to the absolute limit on a journey battling mountains, terrible weather conditions and extreme fatigue.   By the time they’d crossed the finish line, the total raised was an incredible £1,006,509, which will help people living incredibly tough lives here in the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Last day. Me and david on the bus. Did 26 miles til 430am. Shattered  

just done another 26 miles. freezing. about to have a cuppa to warm up

me and davina are in our bunks on the bus having a gossip. back on the bike at 1am

trying to sleep in bunk but shoulder is so sore. davina is still out on the road.

Just done 28 more miles. Now in a service station in my pj’s:

this is so blinkin tough. did the hardest 26 miles today back out at10pm for another

 just done another 22 miles. freezing! less hills this time though. winding down then bed .

my legs ache. back on the bike in 30 mins roughly. its beaut up here though.

We’ve all been training hard and panicking a lot. We went out on our first ever night ride last week - it was 9pm, pitch black, freezing cold and full of pot holes. That’s the deal. So off we went on a 20 mile ride and I can’t even believe I’m about to say this but…I actually enjoyed it! It felt like we were all out on a secret mission whilst everyone else was tucked up with a hot choc. It’s given us all piece of mind that we can actually do this!

This weekend I’ll be packing up my saddle sore cream, PJs, and Slanket to travel up to Scotland for the beginning of the challenge that starts on Monday!

David, Russell and Miranda have all popped in to the show to partake in my little in studio challenge. Check out the video of the ever competitive Mr. Walliams giving it his best!

So aside from cycling shorts and chafing, I have been having a lot of fun elsewhere. The Brits this year were chaotic and rocking! I saw Mel B’s pants by mistake as she whipped off her dress in my backstage set to change in to a different one as she wasn’t sure about her first choice. Courtney Love turned out to be a funny and sweet lady, someone I’ve always wanted to meet yet still being cautious of what she might be like. I love being pleasantly surprised by people. Geri Halliwell asked my makeup artist for some powder, then Courtney got jealous and demanded she got some too. It was hilarious. Who gets the most powdering time before the advert break finished. They nearly ripped my makeup artists arm off at one point!

I went to Robbie’s party after the Brits but was so shattered from the mad day that I was tucked up in bed by 2am. Saddo!

Holly and I have also got to spend some time together this last week as we shot the new TV advert for very.co.uk.  It’s a beaut! I can’t tell you too much but if you enjoyed the ice skating Christmas TV ad you’re going to adore this next spring one! It will be on the TV from March the 1st! My Converse are now also available on line at very.co.uk and are going down a treat.

This week I was also got to interview one of my favourite actors in the world, Mr Johnny Depp alongside the genius that is Tim Burton. I was a tad giddy walking in to the posh hotel knowing what I was about to do and as I entered the rather packed press room full of journalists and presenters from around the world, I knocked over a HUGE Alice in Wonderland poster off an easel. Great start. Luckily the interview went well and I managed to look and sound rather normal although I was screaming and whooping inside!

Johnny and I share the same tattoo artists in LA so at the end of the interview he shook my hand then held my arm for about 15 LONG seconds checking out my arm art. My arm even blushed and went red! IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?? It all happened so quickly and it feels like a dream now but there’s video proof on the Radio1 blog section confirm its reality!

The next time I blog I would have (hopefully) cycled the length of the UK with the Sport Relief team! I’ll be reporting back to Radio1 daily to keep you all updated!
