End 2012 with a bang with the Top Of The Pops Christmas and New Year’s Eve Specials

Fearne and Reggie Yates are counting down our incredible year of music in the Top Of The Pops festive specials on BBC One, including a one-hour Christmas Day show on at 2pm and a New Year’s Eve special at 7pm.

The Christmas special will feature X-Factor winning sensation James Arthur performing the fastest selling single of the year - Impossible. Girls Aloud will perform their track Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me and Rita Ora sings her hot single How We Do (Party). Emile Sande, fresh from performances at the closing and opening ceremony of the Olympics sings Next To Me and Robbie Williams belts out his number one hit Candy, which he co-wrote with fellow Take That-er Gary Barlow.

Florence + The Machine will be putting her lungs to good use with the huge tune Spectrum (Say My Name) and Carly Rae Jepsen performs her catchy hit Call Me Maybe. Teen hearthrob Conor Maynard performs Turn Around and quirky Londoner Paloma Faith performs the powerful Never Tear Us Apart.

Sam and the Womp will be lightening the mood with their summer smash Bom Bom while Hackney quartet Rudimental perform the massive summer hit Feel The Love (ft. John Newman). Internet sensation Gabrielle Aplin will also perform her breakout track The Power of Love.

The New Year’s Eve special will see the return of Girls Aloud as they perform Something New, Rita Ora as she performs R.I.P and Robbie Williams with his song Different. X Factor judge Tulisa will be living it up with her track Young while Ellie Goulding sings the optimistically entitled Anything Could Happen.

Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah will be getting you in the mood to dance your way into the new year with their yet to be released track Drinking From The Bottle and Arlissa, a BBC Sound of 2013 longlist-er, will perform her song Sticks and Stones.

Irish good-lookers The Script will perform Hall Of Fame, indie-rockers The Maccabees will perform Pelican, Stooshe get all soulful with their hit Black Heart and Rizzle Kicks will bring some fun into proceedings, donning a onesie for their performance of Mama Do The Hump.

Top Of The Pops Christmas Eve special will air on BBC One at 2pm and the New Year’s Eve Special will air on BBC One at 7pm.
