Very get up close and personal with Fearne

Fearne recently sat down with the good people from Very to have a natter about everything from beauty routines, her fashion range to meeting her favourite radio presenters.

When Fearne was younger, she dreamed of becoming an actress or an air hostess, but eventually settled on becoming a TV and radio presenter instead! Now she's a star, The best piece of beauty advice she’s ever been given was not to wear too much make-up on camera, “as over time it clogs and creases" and goes by the motto: “Less is always more on screen.”

Fearne’s other top tips for a camera ready complexion is to drink lots of water and always remember to take your make-up off before going to bed (because none of us have ever forgotten to do that before!)

Fearne denies having a signature look, calling her wardrobe “eclectic” as she tends to wear whatever she feels like at the time! But if she could borrow anyone’s wardrobe for the day, she’d wear Debbie Harry’s as she's a style icon and has “set so many trends over the years.”

Discussing her own fabulous Very range, Fearne would either love to see “coolest cutie ever” Whitney Port or “kooky and beautiful” Zooey Deschanel wear her designs. We bet they’d look great in them too Fearne!

Fearne recently won the Glamour Radio Personality Award, and told Very about her own favourite radio presenters: “Total legend” Annie Nightingale, who took Fearne under her wing at Radio 1, or the lovely Terry Wogan because he has so many “wonderful stories.”

Finally, Fearne shared her plans for the summer: “I’ll be out at a few festivals, chilling with my boyfriend and hopefully going somewhere in Europe.” Well deserved Fearne, even if we are just a teensy bit jealous!
