12th September 2016
Following a hugely successful 2015, which saw the festival sell out FESTIFEEL returns for the seventh time. Stereophonics will headline the show with Rae Morris, Lewis Watson, Gavin James, Flyte, Abandoman and special DJ sets from Gok Wan and Sophie Ellis-Bextor with husband Richard Jones, for this year’s annual one-day event. For the first time, we’re delighted to announce that Russell Howard will be curating a comedy line up like no other in the cinema room located within the House of Vans. In addition, there’ll be Q&A’s with CoppaFeel!’s Digital Boob Team including Giovanna Fletcher and Lucy & Lydia, skating, art, glitter and much more. Further information to follow.
Produced by breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! this year’s festival signals the final stop of their UK festival takeover - which sees CoppaFeel! travel the country on their Summer Boob Tour to bring the breast cancer conversation to thousands of young people.
Curated by CoppaFeel! patron Fearne Cotton, FESTIFEEL is Britain’s only boutique music festival with boobs in mind. CoppaFeel! was founded in October 2009 by Kristin Hallenga – who herself was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer at 23. The charity educates young people on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. CoppaFeel! aim to deliver their message in innovative and memorable ways.
'I am so excited to help CoppaFeel! put on another very special FESTIFEEL,' says Fearne. 'It’s a very remarkable day which sees some of my favourite artists perform for great crowds in aid of a cause I truly love. I can’t wait to be there again this year!'
Last year’s event, held at House of Vans for the first time, played host to headliners Everything Everything and Mike Skinner plus Slaves, Lucy Rose, Billie Marten, Reef Eaves and Radio 1’s Danny Howard.
This year, CoppaFeel! have once again partnered with VANS, with the event taking place at their House of Vans venue in Waterloo, London. Spanning over 30,000sq ft, this year’s festival will host a sublime selection of live bands, DJs, spoken word, film and comedy; not to mention a plethora of festival vibes throughout the venue.
